Colin Benders

Sole but far-from-lonely emperor of a monster 243-module rack, genre-unbound sound explorer, modular mad scientist to the bone, call him whatever you like it’s a fact: Dutch wave-tumbler Colin Benders defies the conventions of so easily tag-slapped electronics as much as his music confronts gravity itself. Untamed and unshackled from today’s main line of tepid production behaviorism, striving in an artistic lane truly his own, Benders has completely veered off the grand street’s accepted modus operandi to operate his gear and imagination in an utterly innovative fashion.

Joris Delacroix

For nearly twenty years, Joris Delacroix has been one of those dj's and producers who enjoy unanimous acclaim, perpetually sought after by the biggest festivals worldwide. This is unsurprising given how the Frenchman’s tracks bring together two audiences not accustomed to mingling, or at least not as intensely: lovers of contemplative deep house and fans of hybrid formats, sometimes frenetic, sometimes characterized by more pop tendencies.

CHARLOT

CHARLOT perceives life through the unique lens of her existence, immersing herself in the conversations she hears and the details she observes. Her resulting stories are deeply personal, often dark, enigmatic, and expressive. Through a musical landscape of basses, synthesizers, and strings, she describes the magic of reality and the surrealism of dreams.

Polynation

Polynation, a Dutch music duo renowned for their eclectic blend of electronica, ambient and world music has captivated audiences worldwide, whether on festival stages, club dance floors, or in the comfort of listeners’ homes. Their signature organic and cinematic sound stems from live improvisation, laying the foundation for both meticulously crafted studio tracks as well as
mesmerizing live performances.

Aili

Aili are Belgium-Japanese electro-pop duo Aili Maruyama and Orson Wouters. After a chance meeting at a party in 2019, and time spent bonding over music and synths, they found they had an instant connection, their different personalities and approaches to making music inspiring each other to explore new ideas and sounds.

Subfiction

SUBFICTION is a veiled artist and guide of absorbing audiovisual worlds. Worlds that consist of organic elements, contaminated by technology, exploring musical landscapes beyond genres. SUBFICTION provides your naughty nightly escapades with some of the most sub-soakin' breakbeats and flashy, futuristic visuals.

Velocity Made Good

Velocity Made Good’s music is cutting-edge, direct, and dangerous. Armed with synths, guitar, and live drums, Velocity Made Good's shows range from a calm stillness to a heavy storm, blending refined EBM and electronic elements with raw rock sounds. Dutch Music platform 3voor12 labeled them as one of the highlights of Popronde 2023, and the duo has been nominated for Talent of the Year at Eusonic/Noorderslag’s Popgala Noord.

Sorza x Keenan Mundane

To prove that Leiden is a vibrant hub of new progressive music, we present a special combination of dark beats, deep basslines and hip-hop vocals from Leiden's very own Sorza & Keenan Mundane! They’ll combine their forces and play a unique set together at Nocturne.

Tara Pasveer

Tara Pasveer is an art-pop musician from The Hague. With her voice, electronics, and various instruments Tara invites the listener into a unique dream world. She crafts surrealist sentiments by combining songs with experimental soundscapes and English lyrics with invented languages.

Arsyn

Due to the success of last year, the opening show again will be provided by Leidens' very own art collective Arsyn, taking place in the main room this year. They also will showcase their amazing work in our foyer throughout the night.
